Child Safety Standards

1. Our standard

Gov India Technologies has no tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation on ClabPix. This is not a matter of degree or context: the content comes down and the account goes, whatever the account's history or following.

Specifically, the following are prohibited, and this list is not exhaustive:

• Child sexual abuse material — any image, video, audio or text depicting the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a person under 18.
• Sexualising a minor in any way, including in a caption, comment, hashtag, sound or profile text, and including content that is not itself explicit but frames a minor sexually.
• Grooming — building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually exploit them, whether on the app or by moving the conversation elsewhere.
• Sextortion — threatening to share a minor’s intimate images to obtain money, further images or any other benefit.
• Soliciting, offering, advertising, trading or linking to child sexual abuse material, on this app or anywhere else.
• Trafficking a minor, or arranging or promoting the sexual exploitation of a minor offline.
• Impersonating a minor, or creating an account in a child’s name in order to contact minors.
• Producing such material with editing tools or generative software — a synthetic depiction of a minor is treated exactly like a photograph.

These rules bind everyone using ClabPix, and they apply to reels, photos, comments, profile details, usernames, sounds and anything sent through the app.

2. Who may use the app

You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 you may use ClabPix only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your use of it.

Date of birth is collected at signup. If we learn that an account holder is below the minimum age — from a report, from a moderator, or from the account itself — we remove the account and delete the information held with it.

If you believe a child is using the app, tell us. A report about a suspected underage account is treated as a safety report, not a complaint.

3. How to report

Reporting is available to everyone, takes a few taps, and is confidential — the person you report is not told who reported them.

• A reel — tap the three dots on the reel, then Report.
• An account — open the profile, then Report. You can also block it from the same place, or from your blacklist in Settings.
• A comment — report the reel it sits under and say which comment in your report.
• Anything at all, including from outside the app — write to gov.india.tech@gmail.com, or use the contact page and choose the "Report content or a user" topic.

Tell us what you saw and where, and include the username if you have it. You do not need to keep a copy of the material to report it, and you should not share it further in order to prove it.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then tell us, so we can act on the account.

4. What happens after a report

A person reviews every report of this kind. We do not wait for a pattern of reports before acting on one.

• Content that breaks the standard above is removed from the feeds and the profile.
• The account behind it is disabled. We do not restore an account disabled for child sexual abuse or exploitation, and we act on other accounts held by the same person where we can identify them.
• Where the law requires it, we preserve the material and the account records for an investigation rather than deleting them outright, and we do not return them to the account holder.
• Where the report indicates a child at risk, we escalate to the authorities as described in section 5.

Profile photos and cover images are reviewed by a person before they appear in the app, so this class of image is checked before it is ever public rather than only after a report.

If we get it wrong, you can write to us at the address in section 6 and ask us to look again.

5. Working with the authorities

ClabPix is operated from India and complies with Indian law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act and its rules, which oblige us to report and to preserve.

We report child sexual abuse material and credible threats to a child to the appropriate national authority — in India, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and, where the matter is urgent, the local police. Where a user is in another country and its law requires a report to that country’s national body, we make it.

We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement for account records in an investigation of this kind, and we do not notify the account holder when doing so would compromise the investigation or a child’s safety.

6. Prevention and ongoing work

Alongside removal, the app is built so a young account is not exposed by default and so unwanted contact can be shut off.

• Profile photos and cover images pass human review before they go live.
• Privacy settings control who may comment on your reels and who may see your videos, photos, likes, friends, age and gender.
• Any account can be blocked from its profile or from your blacklist, which stops contact in both directions.
• A reel can be made private or unpublished at any time.

We review these standards as the product changes, and we will state on this page when they were last updated. We publish only what the app actually does: we do not currently run automated matching of uploads against a database of known child sexual abuse material, and we will say so here when that changes rather than implying protection we do not have.
